LED lighting comes in many forms. Choosing the right type for each space makes rooms more comfortable and cuts running costs.
Panels and downlights
Recessed panels and downlights give even, glare-controlled light for offices, corridors and modern homes with false ceilings.
Battens and lamps
Battens are a simple, efficient replacement for older tube lights. LED lamps fit existing holders and are the easiest upgrade.
Floodlights and street lights
Outdoor fittings should carry a suitable ingress-protection (IP) rating for rain and dust.
What to check
Look at wattage, lumen output, colour temperature (warm, neutral or cool white) and the warranty. As always, buy from an authorised source so the warranty is honoured.
